About: Rachel Matthews

Rachel Matthews is a deep-fried Southern belle, married to her very own denim wearin’, Harley ridin’ Texan Prince Charming. She is the always proud and occasionally exhausted mom to two 8th generation Texans - her seven year old firecracker daughter, lovingly known as “Princess” and rambunctious four year old son, oh-so-aptly known as “Monkey”. Rachel spent her childhood cooking with cast-iron, love and butter at the side of her Southern granny. Today, Rachel shares her passion for food and family with thousands of monthly readers on her acclaimed food, photo and family blog, A Southern Fairytale.
