Stuffed Ham Rolls
Yields: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- One jar of tomato sauce or make your own.
- Land O’ Frost ham slices
- ground beef
- ricotta cheese
- mozzerella cheese
Directions:
- Take 2 slices of ham and fill it with ground beef. Roll into a ball. Repeat until you run out of ham.
- Poor some tomato sauce into a casserole dish to form a thin layer along the bottom. Place stuffed rolls in a row until pan is full.
- Top with more tomato sauce. Then cover with ricotta cheese. Pour another layer of tomato sauce over the ricotta, then sprinkle with mozzerella cheese.
- Bake at medium temperature to ensure that the meat inside the ham cooks (a good indicator that the meat is cooked is when the sauce starts bubbling in the pan). Will take approximately 1 hour.
- Cover your pan with aluminum foil so the cheese doesn’t melt down and burn.
- Serve with pasta or garlic or herb bread.
